Strait Miss Boon

http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/strait+miss+boon

Her sire?  8 time world champion Strait From Texas, sire of 3 time world champion Strait Gunsmokensugar.

Her dam?  daughter of Boon Bar, one of a small herd of full sibling offspring from Doc Bar and Teresa Tivio, possibly the best match up of performance blood in the QH world.  Her dam is a paternal half sister to Royal Blue Boon, a leading producing mare probably best known through her incredible son Peptoboonsmal.

The filly at her side?  Sired by a money earning son of Lenas Sugarman, a reining son of Doc O'Lena (with Docs Sug and Gay Bar King on his bottom side) out of Homecoming Chic by Smart Chic O'Lena (with Docs Hickory and Docs Oak on HER bottom side).

Bred back to the same stallion for a 2011 foal.

This is probably one of the best buys I"ve ever had the opportunity to make and I took it.

This mare had a head injury when younger and can't be ridden...even looks a little odd as her ear on one side kind of flops to the side and her lips/lower muzzle on that side don't have any muscle tone...and her tongue hangs out of the corner of her mouth most of the time...gives her kind of a dumb look.... but don't let that fool you.  She's smart and kind and loves attention and is a superb mom.

Her filly?  Probably will stay here and at some point go into training and be shown and then eventually join the mare herd.  She's just super well bred and is cute and friendly and inquisitive.
