Colored Cowhorse Ranch

There aren't a lot of Docs Malbec daughters wandering around the world these days.  And fewer Paint daughters of his.  I had the chance to purchase one and took it and am very glad I did. 

This is a nice, nice mare.  She's an eyecatching liver chestnut tobiano with a ton of rabicano roaning on her barrel and tailhead. 

She arrived in mid summer with a foal at her side sired by a dun tobiano son of Ris Key Business (out of a daughter of Scottish Cord), a solid chestnut 2 year old filly (see her under her own page...Diaman H Risky Malbec) and bred back for '12 to a HERDA negative son of top Paint cutting stallion, Color Me Smart.    There's plenty of inkspots on her weanling colt and he'll be tested for HZ tobiano before he goes on the market.  He's a cutie with plenty of cowhorse in his background and looks good enough to possibly be a stallion prospect.
