In the late spring of 2011, I found a filly for sale and was so excited by her pedigree that I just had to add her to the group here.  To make things even better, her dam was also available.  So...of course....I bought them both! 

Turns out my old cutting trainer had this mare when she was a youngster and thinks she's pretty awesome.  He also had her sire at one point and her dam's sire was in his barn way back when when I first met him and his wife. 

Double bred Docs Hickory....just doesn't get a lot nicer than that.  And Phoebe....she's a bit stand offish but what a pretty mare!  And she's about decided I'm ok (after all, I AM the food fairy!) so we'll get along fine.
