Hickery's Lil Crimson, #871,783

http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/hickerys+lil+crimson

Hickery's Lil Crimson is called "Pistol" around here...and she is that indeed.  She's a sorrel homozgous tobiano filly with an awesome pedigree that can be seen above.  She's tiny and as quick as a scorpion.....I probably won't be riding her as she is so quick and catty that she scares me a bit.

Pistol is a cutie....has inkspots all over her, a mane that at the age of three is hanging to level with her chest and is playful and energetic.  I hope to have photos up this summer after she sheds the huge winter coat she grew.  Hoping also that she grows a bit more...she's probably about 13.3 right now (spring '09) and that's just a tad bit small for my preferences.  She comes by it genetically though.  I bred her great granddam about 15 years ago, sired by my red dun tobiano grandson of Doc Doll (and out of the number 1 cutting point Paint mare in the country at that time) and out of my 13.3 hand bay daughter of Mr. Gunsmoke (out of a daughter of King Fritz).

Pistol was bred in '10 to Ima Streakin Doc but came up empty in the spring of '11.  She was left open for the year and will be bred in the spring of '12 to Double Down Delta.  Since both she and "3D" are chestnut and homozygous I can guarantee the foal will be as well....just don't know if it will be a colt or filly but in either case it will have a terrific pedigree.  Be sure and check back to see how they do.
