Docs Lady Is Smoken is a bay solid Paint mare. Referred to here as "Munchkin", she is actually a minimal expression splash white overo...just didn't get enough white to qualify for regular registration papers with APHA. She has 4 socks that are pretty level across the top, a tiny star, and a long thin rectangular snip that runs off the side toward one nostril....and one partial blue eye.
Her first foal, a filly, was sired by Tuf N Lucky Doc, a homozygous tobiano stallion in California. She had a bay tovero with a mismark (black patch) on one side of her head and one blue eye. That filly was sold and moved to Arizona where I've lost touch with her owners.
Munchkins second foal was a solid chestnut colt sired by Muchacho Pintero in the spring of '07. He was a very friendly colt, smart, playful and good looking. Unfortunately he was playing and slipped one day, fell, hitting his head and getting a skull fracture, and died that day.
Munchkins third foal was also a colt, sired by Muchacho Pintero again. This one is bay with two tall hind stockings, a coronet on one front, a "swoosh" type star, a big splash white type snip, one blue eye....and a big roan patch on his belly that may qualify him for regular registry papers.

Munchkin's next baby was also sired by Muchacho Pintero, and came out a dark brown tobiano filly...born in '10. She's likely to stay here and join the broodmare band in time as she's the only filly I have by Pintero here....and she's been a dream to handle as have been all of his foals.
The plan is to breed her to the newest stallion here, Double Down Delta (pending) in the spring of 2012. He's a homozygous tobiano with a great pedigree and the foal will be tobiano...could be bay, black or possibly chestnut...check back and see!
