Dixie arrived here from western Oregon and is one big stout mare!  She's a tank!  And a sweet, kind mare that likes attention but isn't pushy about asking for it. 

She had a filly at her side on arrival, a black tobiano sired by a Paint son of Docs Hickory. 

This filly is a doll.....and not the least bit shy......

Dixie is bred for '12 to a perlino tobiano Ris Key Business bred stallion for a buckskin, palomino or possibly smokey black tobiano, possibly HZ foal.  Should be exciting. 

Plans are to rebreed her next spring after she foals to Double Down Delta for a triple bred Delta O'Lena foal that will be chestnut tobiano and have a 50/50 chance of being HZ tobiano.
